Reporting lines and interactions:
• Functionally reports to: VP Engineering
Manager
• Directly supervises (operationally): Designers and Draughtsman
• Key interactions (internally, externally): Engineering Project Manager,
Engineers, Designers, Clients, Classification Societies, Fabrication Yards,
Subcontractors
Must have:
• Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor’s Degree, Professional Degree,
Master’s Degree or Doctorate (PhD) in Engineering
• 5 – 10 years’ experience in oil & Gas and petrochemical industries in
engineering role
• Preferably registered as Professional Engineer with BEM.
• Team player with good interactive and communication skills
• Good oral and written communication skills in English
• Experience in EPC projects
• Knowledge and experience within engineering, project planning and risk
• Document cooperation and interface management skills
• Willing to travel to offshore and willing to relocate
Nice to have:
• Working experience in Asian shipyard
• Currently living in Malaysia
Main accountabilities:
• Planning of project execution, hereunder establish progress plan and monitor
same
• Develop overall work scope through liason with Workshop, Engineering, QC and
Client
• Establish material requirements and overlook supply chain activities
• Execution of Projects
• Monitor and report critical issues in the Project
• Build client relation
• Commercial matters pertaining to allocated projects
• Handle variation order issues
• Identifying and reporting improvement potentials and lesson learnt
Additional information:
• Contribute to HSE performance throughout the engineering phases
• Good computer literacy
