Project Concern International _ PCI is looking for energetic
Malawians to fill the position of Agribusiness Field Facilitators to be part of
the dynamic project implementation team of a USAID funded Njira Project which
is currently in its send yr of the 5 yr Grant, Both positions are based in
Balaka

the dynamic project implementation team of a USAID funded Njira Project which

Agribusiness Field Facilitator – Balaka – PCI Malawi
Will be responsible for implementing multiple
activities including
increasing skills and knowledge of smallholder farmers on marketing activities
and access to good markets where farmers can sell their farm produce, This
position is also based in Balaka
Facilitate project interventions related to agribusiness and value
chain interventions, including achieving budget and beneficiary targets in the
agribusiness interventions, Facilitate organisation and formation of farmer
marketing groups, Support producer farmer groups’ activities in conjunction
with relevant Govt agricultural extension staff, Strengthen the capacity of
farmers and farmer groups in all aspects, from production through to post
harvest, Conduct market assessments to support market plans for farmer groups,
Ensure sustained linkages between marketing activities and other project
interventions e.g. Health, irrigation, WE/Village Savings and loans etc, Attain
and report field based agribusiness targets for the project, Document lessons
learned and best practices concerning marketing activities
