Programme Coordination Officer Job Vacancy in United Kingdom

The Programme Coordination Officer will be responsible for coordinating projects for our flagship programme, Building Skills for Life. This is focused on empowering adolescent girls through four main areas of work: education, sexual and reproductive health and rights, economic security and protection from violence. You will be responsible for ensuring that synergies between BS4L findings, advocacy, fundraising
and campaigns work are identified.

You’ll also provide support on project cycle management and sourcing technical support for the projects funded by our Girls Fund and our Forgotten Children’s Fund, working closely with the Gender Equality team and other thematic advisers.

To do all this, you’ll need to have experience of supporting the design, implementation and monitoring of projects focused on girls’ rights and gender equality. We’d also like you to have experience of communicating with and building capacity of field staff, and you must be able to support project implementation at a distance.

We’re looking for someone who can review budgets and develop management information systems . You also need to know about child rights and child protection issues in a development context.
