Columbia, Canada.Cradled within a glorious range of mountains; a sanctuary
blessed with pristine lakes, pine forests, abundant gardens, orchards and

uperb amenities. As the largest city located on
stunning Okanagan Lake, Kelowna is a recreational lakeside paradise with miles
of beautiful parkland and several sandy beaches that provide wonderful
opportunities for swimming, boating, waterskiing, windsurfing and fishing. Even
Kelowna’s main street ends at a beach!
Job Summary:
- Prepare
and host daily show & voice tracking as required - Weekly
Programming meetings - Daily
website/remote schedule maintenance/updating - Monthly
SOCAN report maintenance - Represent
the station at community/station events - Oversee
Programming and overall brand image - Mentor
On Air Staff (regular Air Checks) - Ability
to come up with exciting promotions that generate revenue - Responsible
for growing audience both on air and online
Job Requirements:
- Passionate
about local Radio - Must
be as good on line as you are
on-air - High
level of initiative/self-motivation, goal oriented - Strong
communication skills verbally, written and social media - Experience
with MTS/Adobe Audition/Selector/Commotion would be an asset - Experience
with on-location broadcasts an asset - Ability
to relate to the local target audience - Conceptual,
creative thinker and problem solver - Must
enjoy a fast-paced work environment that is based on team & individual
effort - Valid
driver’s license and reliable automobile - A
positive, friendly manner and customer service approach
