local team.
As part of a friendly and cohesive local team, you will act for a range of Perth based and national
developers, financiers, government entities and corporations. The work is
very diverse and of a high quality, ensuring y
ou develop well-rounded
experience on property sale transactions, developments, complex commercial
leasing and contracting arrangements and due diligence matters for corporate
and finance transactions.
The team also works very collaboratively with other Perth based practice groups, ensuring regular
interaction with partners and lawyers, strong workflow and a good cross
referral of work. Working directly with respectful, experienced and
approachable partners, you will be given a reasonable level of autonomy and
client contact, but also access to regular mentoring and training to ensure
your progression and development.
You will be immediately responsible for drafting, reviewing and advising on
property sale contracts, complex commercial leasing and development agreements,
licences, joint ventures and other commercial agreements. The supervision
and delegation of work to junior lawyers and graduates will also form part of
your role. The firm has a professional, collaborative and social culture, with
a strong investment in staff training, client development and regular social
activities and events.
To be considered, you will require a minimum of 3 years PAE, diverse and high
quality property law experience with a top-tier or leading boutique/second tier
firm, strong drafting and negotiation skills and a commercial approach.
