supplier to the biggest names in the Food Retail & Food Services Industry,

We are currently experiencing an aggressive growth
phase in the business as we intend to double our revenue within the next 3
years by way of new product growth and acquisitions.   As the
Production Team Leader (Night Shift) reporting directly to the Production
Manager, you will be responsible for the manufacture of products using Good
Manufacturing Practices for Country Chef and will be required to co-ordinate
the o

perations and work flow whilst achieving and maintaining a high level of
quality.

 Some of the required functions of this role
include (but not limited to):
  • Monitoring all hygiene processes
  • Continual development of processes and systems to
    make the quality process more efficient
  • To assist Production KPI’s are met and recorded
  • Perform duties at the request of the Operations
    Manager
  • Assist implementation and maintenance of the
    company’s goals, policies & procedures.
  • Ensure production and QA records are completed
    and correctly recorded as required
  • Ensure all Work Health & Safety procedures
    and policies are followed
You will have:
  • 4-5 years’ of Food processing/manufacturing
    experience desirable
  • Previous experience on a production line or
    processing environment mandatory
  • Ability to lead others in department by example
    as well as by the spoken word.Able to resolve minor issues with minimal
    guidance
  • Basic Computer skills, excel, word
  • Familiarity with HACCP, Food Standards Code, WQA
    and SQF
  • The ability to negotiate, communicate and
    influence at all levels including engaging your workforce and assisting in
    achieving win-win outcomes
  • Well-developed communication, negotiation and
    interpersonal skills for liaising with Senior Managers and external bodies
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Punctuality,  Reliability & Honesty
Reporting directly to the Production Manager. 
Working Night Shift, the hours of employment for this role will vary depending
on the sales and production flow.  Based on the Sunshine Coast access to
your own transport for the nightly commute to the site, will be highly
beneficial.
Applicants with demonstrated exposure to the
Manufacturing environment will be highly regarded.
