The Australian Bureau of Statistics (ABS) processes the Census of Population and Housing every five years at a temporary Data Processing Centre (DPC). We have full time non-ongoing opportunities available from July 2011 at the DPC 3 Level. Employment contracts will be based on the operational requirements of the DPC.
Successful applicants will head a section of 12 DPC Level 1 employees and will also attend to the coding and clerical tasks that are performed by the team.
Additionally DPC3 supervisors will monitor the work output of the team and individual team members and conduct on the job training where it is required. They will provide advice to the assistant manager in relation to work output deadlines and quality.
