Responsibilities:
Process Design Basis & Process Description and Control Scheme
PFD’s with material and heat balance details with the help of process Simulation (using HYSYS 2004.2)
Design of Heat Exchangers using HTRI.
Preparation of Process and Utility P&ID’s, Preparation of Equipment Datasheet (i.e Pumps, Heat Exchangers, Vessels, Storage Tanks, Fractionating Column).
Preparation of Functional Specification for packages.
Preparation of Instrument Data Sheets.
Preparation of Equipment List, Electrical Load List, Line List, Hazardous Source List, Safe chart, Cause and Effect Chart, Utility Balance Calculations, Sizing of Pressure/ Vacuum Relief Valves using API standards, Line Sizing and Pressure Drop Calculations, Hydraulic Calculation, Flare Load Calculation, Blow Down Calculation.
Participation in Hazop Study and Hazop Close Outs.
Preparation of pre-commissioning, commissioning procedure and operating manual.
Requirements:
Recognized Bachelor’s Degree in Chemical Engineering
Possess minimum 5 years experience in onshore and/ offshore engineering companies.
Experience in basic design and/ or detailed design, using usual simulation software such as Hysis, Pipesim, Flarenet.
Worked on a design projects involving other refinery, power plant, petrochemical plant or other large downstream plants
Fluent in Bahasa Malaysia and English
Preference will be given to those from East Malaysia.
