Working in a low care facility with ageing in place
requires staff to show initiative and to be comfortable with
the variety of responsibilites within the catering
department. Supportive, on going training is provided over all
aspects of working with the elderly. Th

responsible for processing cook/chill meals, completing general
kitchen duites, following special dietary reqiurement directives and
serving in the dining room.
Essential Criteria for the position:
- Safe Food Handling training
- Experience in cook/chill meal preparation
- Availability to work shifts Mon – Sun, morning
and afternoon - A commitment to upholding the Values
Statement for the organisation - An ability to work in a team of
dedicated staff and make a positive contribution to the team dynamics - Excellent customer service skills
Experience in aged care is preferred. Remuneration
is according to the Presbyterian Aged Care Enterprise Agreement, including all
penalties and allowances.
