is offering 4 postgraduate research bursaries for pursuing PhD studies in
2014 / 15. Bursaries consist of one year UK/EU fees. Students from outside
the EU must find the difference between UK/EU fees and international
fees. All eligible applicants will be considered for the awards, which
will be decided on the basis of academic merit, taking into account past

recent Research Assessment Exercise, 90% of the School’s research was rated at
least of ‘international standard’ with 60% of research in English Literature
and Language classed as ‘internationally excellent’ or ‘world-leading’.
