Application
Engineer

Our
client is a leading local based fabless IC design service company that supports
all aspects of the IC infrastructure needs. They are also an MSC status company
as well as a qualified and a preferred partner for semiconductor companies in
Europe, USA and Asia. They provide end-to-end IC design services to fabless
design houses, electronics and semiconductor system companies, equipment
manufacturers and service providers.

Location: 
Cyberjaya, Selangor
Salary
Range: RM 5,000 to RM 7,000 + Benefits

The Job:

• To support and engage customers to obtain
  successful socket placement and design wins
• Handle interface with internal stake holders
  and customers to define next generation power conversion systems
• Responsible to write product brief and
  customer oriented technical documentations
• To work closely with Business Development for
  product release and customer satisfaction
• To implement application and assist in new
  project from time to time basis

The Person:

• Bachelor / Master of Science in Electrical
  Engineering
• At least 5 years of related experience in
  semiconductor power solutions
• Mandatory to possess proven track
  record in silicon debug, validation and release to volume production
• Must have an extremely good understanding of
  the LED market, applications and derivatives
• Proficient in system and applications tools
  ranging from lab equipments to matlab and spice
• Must be confident in doing schematic capture
  (OrCAD) and PCB layout tools (PADS etc…)
• Must have hands on experience and autonomous
  abilities
• Strong organisation and communication skills
  in both verbal and written English
• Knowledge and versatility in analogue
  electronics, power devices & EMI is an added advantage
