Platini P a fine cut between journalism and music

Singer Platini Nemeye alias Platini P confessed to dissecting his degree in journalism in order to pursue music because it is the only thing he dreamed of as he grew up.

In 2012, Platini was awarded a degree in Journalism from the School of Journalism and Communication, University of Rwanda.

It was said by the former member of Dream Boyz who is now pursuing a solo career while premiering his latest album called Veronika.

“I studied journalism but my passion for music couldn’t let me practice what I studied. Music is my life and I don’t what to mix it with another thing which also requires much time,” says Platini P

The singer however, has a dream of owning a media house because.

“My dream is to set up my own radio or television station because I still love journalism although music is my life,” he said.

Platini has promised to drop more songs to accelerate his solo career before this year ends. He’s still new when it comes to playing music like Platini P, but under Dream Boyz he’s been playing music for over 10 years.

Platini P first recorded two songs from Kina music, featuring Safi Madiba and Nelly Ngabo, before launching a solo career.

The singer also revealed that Dream Boyz still exists as a company, and it will remain because it laid a foundation for what he owns today including a mansion.

He currently boasts songs such as Fata Amano featuring Safi Madiba, Yamotema featuring Nel Ngabo and his latest Veronika song.
