1. Buy a used car: Buying a used car can help save you a lot of money. Studies have shown that the first 10,000 miles are the most expensive in a car. Let someone drive the most expensive miles for you.
2. Be patient: when there is a new gadget in town, do not be in a hurry to buy. Wait for about two to three month, the price will certainly go down.
3. Buy airline tickets in advance: In planning your trips, holidays or excursions, book your tickets in advance. Studies has shown that the cheapest fight tickets are bought at least two months in advance.
4. Make you own meals: Although it might be necessary to eat outside at times, eating outside can gets to be too expensive if it is done too often.
5. Track your spending: For every month, keep a journal of everything you bought and review the list at the end of the month to make decision on how to spend on the following month. Avoid expenses that were not worth the money spent.
6. Ditch your car: Review you journeys on the number of people involved and compare the expenses. In some cases, walk, use bicycle, or take public transportation. This will save you some fuel, car payments, parking, etc.
