to broadening our scientific and practical understanding of how the human mind
directly influences the genesis, advancement, regression, and remission of
disease. We believe that how a person perceives themselves and their relationship
with the world around them has a dramatic influence on the origin, progression,
and resolution of serious illness.
The
Foundation seeks and supports breakthrough research, thinking and tools for
making “perception medicine” a standard practice in both personal and
institutional settings. To launch the foundation to a global audience, we have
an immediate need to hire an exceptional Not-for-Profit Executive Director to
join our team and build a world class nonprofit organization.

Building
on the deep work of the fields of mind-body medicine, psychoneuroimmunology,
epigenetics, meditation research, positive psychology, and other credible,
innovative fields of study, we work with leading researchers to identify,
develop, execute, fund, discuss, and collaborate on projects that deepen our
scientific understanding of the connection between what goes on in our heads
with what goes on in the physical systems of the body.

established research and scientific protocols.

Your
Mission:

As
Executive Director of the Perception Medicine Foundation, your efforts will be
focused in three key areas:

- Convening
thought leaders in diverse fields to shape and evolve the conversation of
what constitutes “perception medicine” and its underlying model
of healing. - Funding
and collaborating on cutting-edge research projects that study the
mechanisms involved with the mind-body healing response and that push the
boundaries of existing knowledge. - Building
a user-friendly archive of research that includes a database of remission
cases and a directory of studies that address the mind-body healing
dynamic. We will also propagate our findings and insights through
creative, dynamic, viewpoint-changing projects in diverse media that will
enlighten the world to deeper truths about the healing process and our
human potential.
Responsibilities
- Recruit
a qualified Board of Directors, Advisory Board and Scientific Board. - Define,
communicate and promote the Perception Medicine Foundations’ core mission
and purpose to a global audience. - Day
to day operational responsibility, including spearheading fundraising
activities nationally and internationally and establishing and managing
the foundation’s budget. - Take
ownership and lead the planning and management of special projects such as
the production and promotion of a TV documentary series; a coming
together, by way of a national symposium, of industry leaders and scientific
experts and launching a large scale clinical study by sourcing qualified
collaborators to develop parameters and protocols. - Manage
an exceptional database of “Radical Remission” cases (in
conjunction with the Institute of Noetic Sciences and Dr Kelly Turner’s
Radical Remission Project) revising, updating and further developing the
functionality, searchability and overall user interface of the site.
Skills
- As
a high-energy, engaging and inspiring leader, you will have a positive
“can-do anything” attitude and you will be innately
entrepreneurial. - Previous
experience in establishing a Not-for-Profit or startup organization,
preferably in a field related to Perception Medicine. As part of this you
will have a strong business acumen and prior fiscal responsibility. - Substantial
project management experience with demonstrable successes. - Exceptional
presentation and communication skills – skilled in public speaking,
networking and fundraising activities. - Previous
experience in developing a website and managing and developing a database

In

every Friday. We compete with each other for company funded trips to places
like Costa Rica, but essentially we are a like-minded group of ambitious
hard-workers who believe in ZAG’s vision and will do what it takes to get to
where we need to go!
