Our client is a
leading niche manufacturing business located in a Southern NSW regional centre.
They currently have a requirement for an experienced CAD Draftsperson to join
their dynamic team of engineering professionals on a permanent full-time basis.
This is a great
opportunity for you to utilize your CAD Design skills to produce 3D CAD models
of fabricated sheet metal assemblies, and produce 2D AutoCAD drawings of
sheetmetal components and electronic schematics.
Advanced 2D AutoCAD
drafting skills is a requirement, as well as advanced 3D CAD modelling skills
with software like Solidworks or Inventor is a requirement for the role. An
understanding of CNC laser, or CNC plasma cutting, CNC Punching and
Robotic Welding would also be advantageous for this role, and would see you
providing timely and cost effective assistance in the manufacture of tooling,
jigs, gauges and fixtures.
Key
requirement for this role include:
- Advanced
2D AutoCAD drafting skills is a requirement - Advanced
3D CAD modelling skills with software like Solidworks or Inventor is a
requirement - Previous
experience with CNC programming of Laser Cutting Machines, Punching
Machines and Robotic Welding Machines would be advantageous - A trades
background would be highly regarded - Exposure
to Australian standards - Strong
communication skills - Well
developed Project Management Skills - Eligiblity
to obtain and maintain a Defence Security Clearance is a requirement. This
role will require access to ITAR controlled material. You may be adversely
affected by the ITAR controls if you are not an Australian citizen, if you
hold dual nationality and / or citizenship, or if you are not of
