Partners In Health/Inshuti Mu Buzima is a Harvard-affiliated NGO operating in twelve countries worldwide. PIH/IMB has worked in Rwanda since 2005, partnering with the Rwandan Government and Clinton Health Access Initiative to strengthen primary health systems in three rural districts, namely: Kayonza, Burera and Kirehe.


Partners In Health (PIH)/Inshuti Mu Buzima (IMB) is seeking to recruit an outstanding candidate to fill the following vacant position

1.Job position: Monitoring and Evaluation Manager
Reports to: Associate director monitoring, evaluation and Research
Location: Kayonza

Overall responsibilities;
The Monitoring and Evaluation (M&E) Manager is responsible for supporting the cross-cutting work of the M&E department in the districts of Burera, southern Kayonza, and Kirehe.

Other broad responsibilities of the M&E Manager are as follows:
1) Assist in setting departmental strategic objectives, priorities and timelines;
2) Provide leadership for M&E related activities to support clinical and non-clinical programs;
3) Support development of M&E within IMB clinical and non-clinical departments through regular meetings with program leaders, development of programmatic indicators, supporting data collection, and serving as technical advisor for programs’ M&E activities;
4) Participate in M&E activities established by grant agreements, including but not limited to presentation of data for site visits and assessments, data collection, data quality assessments, capacity building activities, reports and presentations;
5) Oversee development and implementation of targeted evaluations as well as ongoing routine monitoring;
6) Coordination of cross-district M&E tasks, including but not limited to assistance with data collection, data quality assessment, training and capacity building;
7) Provider supervision and mentorship for cross-district M&E team, including coordinators and data officers;
8) Set capacity-building agenda for departmental staff and assist in implementation;
9) Assist in responding to data requests for development, reporting, and planning purposes;
10) Serve as a liaison between IMB M&E and Research Department and PIH Boston M&E office.

Requirements;
• At least a Bachelor’s degree, with Masters preferred
• Experience in the fields of Monitoring and Evaluation,
• Experience in management of data for quality Improvement;.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Access, Excel, and power point;
• Having worked in a similar field is an added advantage.
• Knowledge or English, Kinyarwanda/or French
