Job Description
We are currently looking for skilled and motivated part time IT Support to come to our Singapore at least 4-5 times per week. Students and fresh graduates are welcome to apply.
The role requires:
– Experience with workstation-server level hardware and software installation, configuration, and support.
– Experience with networked printers and copiers installation configuration, and support.
– Experience with Active Directory, DNS, DHCP concepts
– Experience with supporting users of remote access technologies including Microsoft VPN, remote desktop and terminal services.
– Experience with Anti Virus software like Norton, VMware technologies.
– Proficient with Microsoft Office software suite.
– Good understanding of Microsoft client-server technologies.
– Basic knowledge of Operating Systems like Windows, Linux and HP Unix
– Good understanding of local and wide-area networking technologies.
– Strong troubleshooting skills and desire/ability to learn new technologies/skills quickly.
– Strong verbal and written communication skills.
– Familiarity with PABX/VOIP phone systems.
– Familiarity with Microsoft licensing
– Redirect problems to appropriate resource
Required background:
– Working knowledge of fundamental operations of relevant software, hardware and other equipment
– Diploma / ITC from any of the local polytechnics or IT related fields, but IT work experience will be considered
– Must be professional, tactful and meticulous
– Willingness to learn new skills
