Our Client, an MNC, requires a Package R&D Engineer (East)
Responsibilities:
• Design packages that meet the product requirements and market needs
• Conduct Stress and Thermal simulations
• Generate package designs using AutoCad
• Characterize package performance and establish correlation with modeling
• Ensure optimum material selections
• Interface with Manufacturing Operations to ensure manufacturability
• Liaison with Product/Quality Engineering: to address relevant issues
• Develop and drive cost reduction programs
Requirements:
• Bachelors Degree or higher in Material Science or Mechanical Engineering or Industrial Engineering
• At least 5 years experience in Package Engineering in a high volume Power Semiconductor industry
• Skilled in modeling using Ansys or equivalent software.
• Knowledgeable in thermal and stress analysis and techniques to optimize these to enhance package performance.
• Have the people skills to work with diverse organizations and drive towards efficiency.
• Good team work experience and attitude necessary.
• Bilingual in English and Mandarin for effective liaison with clients
