Oxfam’s

Job
Purpose: To co-ordinate fundraising and grant management for Rwanda programme.
To support and capacity build the programme teams and country office in
planning, securing and managing restricted funds. To develop and maintain good
working relationships with donor organizations and thereby maximize income from
these sources.

should have strong networking and capacity- building skills to be able to
identify, manage and maintain partnership relationships with ‘all the donors.
You should also have good communication ( verbal and written ) skills, with,
demonstrated ability to develop, write and present good proposals, concepts,
donor reports, progress reports and ability to, analyze context and support in
project design and monitoring and evaluation. Ability to speak and write in
English fluently is essential.

Programme team, in development fundraising structure and systems as well as
facilitating the, development of funding strategy and implementation plan. He/
She will support programme team with programme/ project development leading to
production of key concepts and funding proposals in accordance with country
strategy and donor requirements as well as to develop and maintain sustainable,
quality and consistent relationships with key and potential donors.

demonstrable experience and knowledge of major bilateral donors, foundations
and wide range of charities as well as experience in corporate fundraising is
an asset.
