Online Content Manager Job Vacancy in Glasgow

Our client, a leading global IT Manufacturer, has a requirement for an experienced Web Content Manager.

Working within the online Marketing Team, this role will be fast paced as the team and business continues to grow. As a a digital communications professional with experience developing, optimising and delivering content, this person will be part of the team responsible for the online business, continually improving the customer journey and driving overall site conversion.

Purpose and Context
• Drive online revenue through website management
• Develop best in class online customer experience
• Develop, manage and implement online content
• Support Senior Management in the development of online digital projects, enhancements and test and learn initiatives
• Catalogue management and e-publishing
• Product price & promotions data accuracy
• Provide, monitor and analyse web analytics – overall site usage, key products, purchase flows, site drop-off, up sell/cross-sell in order to understand and improve the customer journey and drive overall site conversion
• Prepare and deliver product/promotion briefs for sales team

Performance Measures
• Online Revenue
• Online performance metrics – visits, conversion, ASB,ROI
• Data quality – Implementation of online catalogue – products and pricing
• Performance against business objectives
• Online customer satisfaction

Skills/Knowledge Experience
• Experienced online content manager
• Highly commercial individual with a proven track record of driving online sales growth
• Experience in testing and targeting techniques, such as A/B and MVT
• Creative flair and experience of generating content for websites and digital communications
• Passion for e-commerce
• Ability to drive innovation
• Exceptional relationship management & communication skills
• Computer literate (Adobe Photoshop & Microsoft Excel experience is an advantage)
• Self motivated with strong personal time management & prioritisation skills
• Ability to work on own initiative and as part of a team
• Good analytical and evaluation skills
• Educated to degree level (preferably in marketing or business)
• 3+ years marketing experience
