POSITION: FINANCE & BUDGET ANALYST (Iringa)
The Finance/Budget Analyst performs in-depth analysis of our revenue and
spending trends vs. budget. Secondary roles include performing other types
of financial analysis/modeling according to organizational needs.
Duties and Responsibilities:
• Provide technical assistance with annual department/country budget
preparation.
• In depth analysis of monthly actuals vs. budget including providing
reconciliation of variances.
• Analyze and clearly communicate any trends affecting our budget needs.
• Consult with department managers to ensure that budget adjustments are
made if necessary.
• Perform any other cost-benefit analyses on a per need basis.
• Implement new and better strategies for gathering, reviewing and
analyzing data.
Additional Qualifications Required:
• University bachelor degree in e.g. Business
Administration/Accounting/other relevant specialization.
• At least 3-5 years experience of financial analysis.
• Excellent analytical skills including spreadsheet modeling/analysis of
large sets of data.
• Advanced MS Office user (incl. Excel, Word, Access).
SELECTION CRITERIA:
• Tanzanian professional with 2-5+ years of work experience (high-level
professional work/entrepreneurial experience)
• Bachelors or Masters University Graduate with GPA 3.0 or higher (Please
include GPA/Scholl marks)
• Fluent in Kiswahili and English
• Fluency in Microsoft Office
• Ability to live and work in Iringa, with regional travel (unless
otherwise stated)
