4. To Institute innovative approaches to sustain social sector service delivery Initial. Activities will focus on 35 district Local Governments in the East, West and Central regions of Uganda. SDS is seeking to fill the following positions based at Mbale, Mbarara and Kampala.
2. Office Manager/Financial Assistant-(Mbale, Mbarara and Kampala)
The Office Manager/Financial Assistant will support the Regional Manager in office operations. This will include procurement, inventory, administration, and accounting.
Responsibilities
• Track office inventory and procurement.
• Use OuickBooks accounting software to maintain regional office balance sheet.
• Work with Regional Manager to request funds from-Kampala HQ office.
• Maintain financial files.
• Supervise driver and keep track of the travel log.
• Answer phones and receive office guests as needed.
Job requirement
Academic Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in relevant area such as business administration, management, etc.
Other Qualifications
• 2+ years of experience in office management.
• Experience in accounting, preferably in use of QuickBooks software.
• Experience using Microsoft Excel and Word.
• Excellent organizational and administrative skills.
