Reporting to the Senior Board Support Officer, the Board Support Officer
coordinates all arrangements for NTML Board meetings, as well as meetings of
Board committees and sub-committees and CEO advisory groups.
The Board Support Officer liaises with internal NTML staff and managers in
order to ensure adequate and timely flow of information and meeting papers to
enable provision of the highest quality support.
The Board Support Officer works independently in order to ensure efficient and
effective administration of meeting processes and timely information
dissemination to and from the NTML Board, committees and advisory groups.
To be
considered, you will have:
- Excellent
organisational skills and a high level of maturity in order to work
independently and under pressure, prioritising and completing critical
tasks within required timeframes and with attention to detail. - Proven
experience in working with boards and committees and managing meeting
support services including production of minutes. - Significant
experience in managing office procedures and systems, and knowledge of
internal information systems and intranets. - Strong
interpersonal skills and the ability to calmly and responsibly manage
sensitive and confidential matters relating to governance and corporate
decision-making. Developed assertiveness skills in order to effectively
keep staff appraised of deadlines and other meeting requirements. - High
level communication skills including comprehension and writing skills to
capture, analyse and present complex information. - Personal
qualities such as energy, flexibility, initiative, commitment to teamwork
and collaboration, focus on outcomes and respect for others.
