We are looking to recruit Employment
Advisers/ Employment Consultants/ Recruitment Consultants/ Personal Advisers to
assist unemployed customers to find sustained employment. Experience in the
Employment Related/ Welfare to Work Sector is not essential but you must have
excellent customer facing and organisational skills and the ability to achieve
targets.

Employment Advisers support a range of
customers to focus their job search, help with job applications and CV writing
and confidence at interviews. This work can be challenging but also incredibly
rewarding role as you can make a huge difference to people’s lives.
Key duties of the role are:
  • Guiding
    customers through the programme toward their job goal and act as a mentor
    whilst in work.
  • Matching
    and preparing customers to suitable employment opportunities encouraging
    them to fully engage in the attainment of sustainable employment.
  • Delivery
    of high quality inductions to each new customer to the programme ensuring
    all Minimum Service Requirements are met on time and in full.
  • Deliver
    high levels of Customer Service and strive to deliver “Customer Delight”
  • Assessment
    of customer’s individual training and development needs to enhance
    employment prospects. Working with them to create a development plan and
    reviewing the plan to ensure each customer is fully engaged and progresses
    against agreed objectives and timescales.
  • Management
    of a caseload of customers through the programme, providing information,
    advice, guidance and support to assist them in overcoming barriers to
    sustain employment.
  • Sourcing
    suitable vacancies and contacting employers to promote our candidates.
Candidates need to have the following;
  • Ability
    to inspire, motivate and build up customer’s confidence
  • Excellent
    communication skills and ability to build rapport with customers
  • Self-motivated
    and driven to achieve targets
  • Positive
    attitude and confident yet can be sensitive to customer’s needs
  • Organised
    and able to plan and prioritise the workload
  • Good
    IT skills; proficient in MS outlook, word, internet searching and using
    databases
