Plant Protection Advisor

Pay Scale: Pay Band-4 plus Grade Pay Rs.8900/-
Age Limit: The maximum age limit for appointment by deputation shall be not exceeding 56 years as on the closing date of receipt of applications.
Eligibility Conditions:
Officers under the Central Government or State Government or Union Territories or Universities or Recognised Research Institutions or Public Sector Undertakings or Semi-Government or Autonomous or Statutory Organisations:-
(a)(i) Holding analogous post on regular basis in the parent cadre or Department; or
(ii) with two years service in the grade rendered after appointment thereto on a regular basis in posts in Pay Band – 4 Rs.37400-67000 plus Grade Pay of Rs.8700/- or equivalent in partner cadre/Department.
Educational Qualifications and Experience:
(b) Possessing the following educational qualifications and experience:-
(i) Doctorate Degree in Entomology or Nematology or Plant Pathology or Weed Science or Organic Chemistry or Analytical Chemistry or Agricultural Chemistry from a recognised university or Institute.
(ii) 12 years practical experience in a supervisory position, in the control of pests or locust or plant diseases and their management including experience of conducting applied research in this field.
(iii) Three years administrative experience.
