The
Human ResourcesIntern will have the overall responsibility for
implementing the Human Resources policies, procedures and systems that
maximize the contribution of individuals and teams in the achievement of
Program strategy, plans and priorities. This will include development and
implementation of efficient and cost effective administrative systems. He/she
will ensure sustained Organizational Effectiveness by developing and
implementing interventions in human processes, structures and systems in
response to changing organizational contexts, strategies and priorities. Among
other functions.

- Develop,
implement and interpret Human Resource policies, procedures and systems
and ensure consistency and harmony with the NAR framework, other
organizational level policies and national labour legislation - Facilitate
recruitment, selection, induction and orientation processes - Ensure
NAR’s mission, vision, values, principles and culture are continually
promoted and discussed throughout the region. - Develop,
Promote, Facilitate and sustain an organizational culture and climate that
promote NAR values, behavior and attitudes - Facilitate
the process of resolution of individual and team conflicts, develop and
implement systems for neutral handling of grievances interventions to
ensure organizational harmony - Ensure
all staff receive timely induction - Maintaining
HR calendar, timely renewal of staff contracts, probation confirmation and
other procedures. - Ensure
that performance reviews are conducted regularly by supervisors; provide
training and advise to managers on effective implementation of performance
management - Support
managers and mediate conflict, grievances cases - Support
staff and managers with the implementation of performance management
system (setting objectives, giving feedback and ensuring reviews are fair
and unbiased) and ensuring this is well understood - Ensure
that advice and support is provided to managers and staff on
interpretation and application of policies and procedures and on other HR
related matters - In
close collaboration with the Management prepare terms and conditions
of employment for approval

understanding of statutory compliance in Rwanda Law . - Handled
and set-up project from inception ( from HR perspective) - Excellent
communication, Interpersonal & Coordination skills

to be a self-starter, motivated and team player wishing to develop or
continue a career in human resources management in an NGO - Holding
a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree
