ently seeking an
experienced and enthusiastic Production Planner to join their fast paced and
dynamic team, located in Mackay.

The Production Planner will report to the General
Manager while working closely with internal departments and have key
accountabilities in establishing a best practice scheduling system while
increasing efficiency and productivity in our production process.
Your responsibilities will include:
  • Planning/scheduling orders within required
    lead times
  • Direct/undertake tasks relating to the
    planning of production operations, methods and/or processes
  • Estimate manpower, tool and other equipment
    resources for production plans
  • Analyse manufacturing plans, planning
    documents, engineering information etc. to apply proper time spans for the
    processing of materials, parts, tools or assemblies to meet contractual
    delivery requirements
  • Managing the status and workflow of orders
    according to priority
  • Establishing the manufacturing BOM
  • Ensuring up to date communication of order
    status to key stakeholders
  • Working to continuously improve the processes
    & work flow
  • Taking action & reporting of any potential
    DIFOT failures
  • Diagnose problems and ensure quality control
  • Use preventative maintenance and compliance
    with safety procedures and regulations
To be successful in this role you will have:
  • Experience within a similar role, ideally in
    heavy industrial industry
  • Trade or Tertiary qualifications in
    Engineering or a related discipline
  • Excellent communication skills
  • A high level of organisational & problem
    solving skills
  • Knowledge of OH&S and Quality Systems will
    also be highly regarded.
