Neighbour to Neighbour Ward Officers Jobs Vacancies in Nigeria

Neighbour to Neighbour, N2N, was a leading support group that contributed immensely to the emergence of President Goodluck Jonathan and Vice President Namadi Sambo at the April 2011 elections. Now that the elections are over, N2N has been transformed to continue in support of the Transformation agenda of Mr. President for the promotion of good governance, security, peace and stability in Nigeria.

In addition, the new N2N Initiative will provide a feedback platform whereby the pulses of Nigerian populace can be relayed back to Government for proper perusals and implementations.
In its efforts to achieve the above objectives and fulfill its new mandate, N2N Initiative hereby invites applications from qualified Nigerians to fill the following vacancies:

Job Title: Ward Officers, WO [in each of the 8,890 WARDS]

Duties
 Reports to the LGAS.
 Conducts statistical analyses to guide research efforts.
 Available to be contacted in emergency situations
 Attends fundraising activities and events at grassroots level.
 Develops strong relationships with community groups, including religious, schools and affinity groups to increase income.

Qualifications:
 Be a registered volunteer with N2N Initiative [log on to www.neighbour2neighbour.org.ng to register].
 Computer literacy / competency will be an advantage.
 WAEC / NECO or its equivalent.
 Must be resident in his / her Ward of jurisdiction.
