Our Client has grown to become one of the country’s foremost centers of excellence in heavy precision engineering & Pipe Manufacture & Cladding.
Their in-depth knowledge base and experience, puts them at the cutting edge. A computer aided manufacturing system and computerised production control facility is used to maximize the capability and productivity of their apparatus. Specialist software packages are used to provide full support for their processes.
They company has developed a “state of the art” pipe fabrication division. This division incorporates unique manufacturing methods for fabricating pipe and fittings for the benefit of the end users.
The equipment they have, has been developed over several years to optimise weld preparation geometries using narrow gap techniques to ensure their customers get a cost effective pipe fabrication solution. This automatic equipment, orbital and rotated, will handle pipe sizes from 2″ to 36″ diameter pipe in fabricated lengths of twelve meters.
Unlike most pipe fabricators, they have the capability to manufacture the component parts within the fabrication. The fittings and flanges manufactured by the Group can be manufactured from any commonly used Carbon Steel/Clad combination, Duplex Stainless Steel, Nickel Alloys, 300 Series Stainless Steels, or Carbon/Low Alloy Steels.
They provide the full service of facilities to back our pipe fabrication division. To include; all NDE practices, post weld heat treatment, hydro-testing, painting and packaging.
For their Glenrothes facility they have an immediate requirement for an experienced NDT Operator.
You will be qualified to: – PCN/ASNT Level II, SNT-TC-1A applicable to Radiography, RT, MPT, UT, LPI & Visual Inspection.
Contract role with superb rates.
Overtime is paid at enhanced rates.
