Duties and responsibilities:
1. To operate studio camera and field camera equipment to support the school’s proposed live and taped productions
2. To strictly develop and ensure adherence to safety protocol and procedures for all studios
3. To set up and prepare studios for taped productions
4. To assist in camera and talent blocking; assist in mic and IFB checks
Skills and qualification
1. Rwanda nationality
2. Bachelor’s degree in journalism, mass communication or equivalent;
3. Must have expertise in news-gathering, writing, editing and radio production for short-form and long-form reports.
4. Possesses broad knowledge of local and national issues;
5. Demonstrate an ability to work within a live broadcast environment;
6. Displays knowledge and adherence to high ethical standards
7. Possesses effective communication and interpersonal skills
8. Skills required also include on-line research, word processing, digital editing, and operational of light office equipment;
9. Must have excellent memory for details, be able to meet daily deadline under pressure and deal effectively with simultaneous tasks.
