Position Description:
Reports to: Chairperson
• Shall be Chief Executive Officer and head of the secretariat
• Shall be overall in charge of day to day activities of the funds of MISA-TAN
• Develops and proposes to the National Governing Council for approval, financial and human resource policy, strategic and annual plans and budgets
• Recruits the personnel to run the activities of the secretarial pursuant to human resource policy and requirements and subject to approval of the National Governing Council
• Prepares the National Governing Council meetings
• Plans and fundraise for the organization
• Shall be signatory to all MISA-TAN accounts and transactions
Qualifications
• Must be a suitable, qualified person with a minimum of a University degree with media and management background, with an experience up to four post-qualification experience in the media or related field
• Must have a good track record of experience and diligence in a similar senior position at least for a period of 5 years
• Must be conversant with issues concerning the media sector and management
• Must be capable of working with minimum supervision, ready and willing to serve the organization even on voluntary basis
• Age between 35-50 years
