The National Curriculum Development Centre is a corporate body under the Ministry of Education and Sports .It is responsible for inter alia development of materials for various levels of education (i.e. pre-primary, Primary, Secondary and Tertiary), organizing capacity building courses for stakeholders on curricula and matters related to curriculum.

Main purpose of the job for curriculum specialists:
To edit publications, curricular and curriculum related materials.
Duties:
(i) Editing all curriculum materials
(ii) Proof reading all work produced at the Centre
(iii) Liaising with specialists and illustrators
(iv) Being in-charge of the Centre’s magazine
Requirement:
Qualifications:
• Degree in Mass Communication or Media Studies or English or Literature
• Must have excellent grammar and spelling skills
• Must be hard working, ready to work under pressure and to keep deadlines
• Must be ready to work with people as part of a team
• Must have love for words, reading and writing
• Must have a keen eye and pay attention to detail
Experience:
Minimum of 3 years in book editing and publications
