is a materials technology company developing products for its 3D nano-porous
conductive membranes for energy, environmental, chemical and biomedical applications.

A
newly created role for an experienced Production Technician is available and
will be embedded within a small and dive

rse team of Scientist and Engineers.
Based in the Sunshine Coast, this is a great opportunity to work hard and play
hard.

Requirements
  • Trade,
    Diploma or Degree qualification, with at least 3 to 5 years relevant
    working experience as Production Technician or similar
  • Strong
    mechanical and/or electrical aptitude
  • Knowledge
    of controls (including PLC/industrial PCs), electrical/mechanical systems
    and networks
  • Intermediate
    MS Office Suite user
  • Hands
    on skills to diagnose and repair lab equipment
  • Proficient
    in AutoCAD and I&C will be an advantage
  • Knowledge
    within chemical and wet processes
  • Thrives
    on working in a small team
  • Current
    work rights in Australia
Responsibilities
The
successful applicant will take responsibility for the following:
  • Participate
    in the design review for Roll to Roll plating machine prototype.
  • Perform
    Installation and Operational Qualification after equipment installation.
  • Assist
    in mechanical and electrical integration of plating equipment.
  • Troubleshooting,
    Repair, CIP, maintenance and upgrade of existing equipment.
  • Run
    Engineering and R&D samples in ‘one off’ equipment whenever necessary.
  • Coordinate
    design and fabrication of tools and equipment needed for testing and
    production e.g expansion tester.
  • Participate
    in defining equipment options and developing process for Roll to Roll Tab
    Connection.
  • Manage
    and in special cases – perform mechanical testing to define raw material,
    product and packaging specifications.
  • Create
    and conduct a maintenance program for the lab, analysis, and production
    equipment to ensure everything is running at their peak performance.
  • Identify
    critical parts and ensure their availability at all times
  • Establish
    archive system for equipment manuals, procedures, drawings, quotations
    etc.
