OF AN INTERNATIONAL EXPERT IN AVIATION
The transport sector development is aligned to Economic Development and Poverty
Reduction strategy for the country and one of main thrusts of the national
vision 2020. Also, it’s aligned to National Investment Strategy as well as
other development reference points such as the Millennium Development Goals.
The overall goal for the sector is to reduce transport costs, increase mobility
for the population, supplying of services and transport infrastructure that
will facilitate the exchange of goods and services.
The main objective of recruiting international expert in Aviation is to enhance
the Ministry of Infrastructure’s capacity to effectively develop and manage air
transport and contribute more efficiently to the national economic growth,
economic development and poverty reduction.
In view of the above, the Ministry of Infrastructure seeks to recruit an
international expert in the domain of Aviation to support the Ministry of
Infrastructure in management and development of the aforementioned domain.

Contract duration
Contract
duration is two year renewable upon satisfactory performance. The selected
candidate will be expected to start as soon as he/she receives notification
letter to take the post.

Reporting and accountability
The
international consultant will work under and report to Hon. Minister of State
in charge of Transport.
3.
Location
The
location of the assignment is in the Republic of Rwanda and the office is
located in Kigali, the Capital City of the Republic of Rwanda.
