The Ministry of Education (MINEDUC) wishes to recruit
competent skills and experience staff for the following positions:
1. Advisor to the Minister of Education:
Masters or Equivalent in Education Sciences, Education Planning, Educational
Management & Administration, Education & Development, Applied Pedagogy,
Management with 1 year working experience or A0 in Education Sciences,
Education Planning, Educational Management & Administration, Education
& Development, Applied Pedagogy, Management or any other relevant field
with 3 years working experience. Fluent in English, working knowledge of French
or both languages is an added advantage.
2. Director of Finance & Administration:
Masters in Finance, Accounting; or A0 in Public Finance, Accounting and
Management specializing in Finance/Accounting with 3 years working experience.
Having an Accounting Professional Qualification recognized by IFAC (ACCA, CPA
etc) is an added advantage. Fluent in English; working knowledge of French or
both languages is an added advantage.
3. Documentation & Archives Officer:
A0 Library and information Science, Documentation studies, Archives
management ; or A1 library and information science with 3 years working
experience or other relevant field, fluent in English, working knowledge of
French or both languages is an added advantage.
4. Customer care officer:
A0 in communication, Public Relations, Public Administration with 2 years working
experience. Fluent in English, working knowledge of French or both languages is
an added advantage.
5. Head of Central Secretariat:
A1 Secretariat with 2 years working experience. Fluent in English, working
knowledge of French or both languages is an added advantage.
6. Secretary in central secretariat:
A1 Secretariat, Fluent in English; working knowledge of French or both
languages is an added advantage.
7. Professional in charge of institutional Change & Capacity
building:
Masters or equivalent in Education planning, Education Sciences, Human
resources management, Educational management & Administration or Bachelor’s
degree in Education planning, education sciences, human resources management,
educational management & Administration with 2 year working experience ;
Fluent in English, working knowledge of French or both languages is an added
advantage.
8. Professional in charge of higher Education:
Masters or Equivalent in Education Sciences, Education Planning, Educational
Management & Administration, Education & Development, Applied pedagogy,
Management, with 1 year working experience or A0 in Education Sciences,
Education Planning, Educational Management & Administration, Education
& Development, Applied Pedagogy, Psychology with 3 years working experience
; Fluent in English, working knowledge of French or both languages is an added
advantage.
9. Professional in charge of Girls’ education:
Master or equivalent in Education Science, social studies, Sociology
specializing in Education or A0 in Education sciences, Social Studies,
Sociology specializing in Education ; OR other relevant field with 2 year
working experience. Fluent in English, working knowledge of French or both
languages is an added advantage.
10. Administrative Assistant to the DG:
Bachelor’s degree in Public Administration, A1 secretariat or other
related field with 2 year working experience. Fluent in English, working
knowledge of French or both languages is an added advantage.
11. Professional in STR Data Management:
Masters or bachelor’s degree in Statistics, Education Planning, Applied
Mathematics, Economics; Or other relevant field with 2 year working experience.
Fluent in English, working knowledge of French or both languages is an added advantage.
12. Senior Professional in Policy (Research & Development Unit):
Masters pr equivalent in Sciences, Applied Sciences, Education Sciences,
Educational Management & Administration or other relevant field with 3 year
proven experience in research including technology and Innovation. Fluent in
English, working knowledge of French or both languages is an added advantage.
13. Senior Professional Research Programs Coordination:
Masters or equivalent in sciences, Applied sciences, Education Sciences, Educational
Management & Administration or other relevant field with 3 year proven
experience in research, including technology and innovation; Fluent in English,
working knowledge of French or both languages is an added advantage.
14. Senior Professional in policy (Science Unit):
Masters or Equivalent in Sciences, Applied Sciences, Education Sciences,
Educational Management & Administration, or other relevant field with 3
proven experience in Science, Technology and innovation. Fluent in English,
working knowledge of French or both languages is an added advantage.
15. Senior IT monitoring & Evaluation (in primary, Secondary,
Tertiary):
Masters in Computer Engineering, Electromechanical Engineering, or A0 in
Computer, Computer Engineering, Electromechanical Engineering with 2 year
proven experience in ICT. Fluent in English, working knowledge of French or
both languages is an added advantage.
16. ICT Officer:
Masters in Computer Engineering, Electromechanical Engineering, or A0 in
Computer, Computer Engineering, Electromechanical Engineering with 2 year
proven experience in ICT. Fluent in English, working knowledge of French or
both languages is an added advantage.
17. Database and application administrator (2):
Master in Computer Engineering, Electromechanical Engineering or A0 in
Computer, Computer Engineering, Electromechanical Engineering with 2 year
proven experience in ICT, Oracle, SQL Server, MySQL or other relational
database. Fluent in English. Working knowledge of French or both languages is
an added advantage.
18. GIS Officer:
Master in Computer Engineering, Electromechanical Engineering or A0 in
Computer, Computer Engineering, Electromechanical Engineering with 2 year
proven experience in ICT, Oracle, SQL Server, MySQL or other relational database.
Fluent in English. Working knowledge of French or both languages is an added
advantage. Knowledge of ARC-GIS Software is a must.
