Project Manager – Agriculture –
Microloan Foundation – Kasungu
Coordinate and develop
agricultural loans for clients receiving microfinance, The aim is for clients
to achieve food security and improve their sustainability, The person should be
able to provide both technical and business advice to both clients and
colleagues on Agricultural and associated activities, They must also be aware
of the business and legislative implications of their advice
Preparing and modifying business
and operating plans, Developing new agricultural loan products, Supporting and
assisting Branch Managers and Loan Officers to deliver the agricultural loan
products, Negotiating optimum prices and bulk purchasing of agricultural
inputs, Organising logistics for agricultural inputs (storage and transport),
Visiting clients to identify and evaluate their business and/or technical
requirements, Assisting clients with business planning, planning applications,
government legislation etc, Collecting and analysing data, crop yield and
financial reports to monitor performance, Organising and conducting field
trials to find solutions to clients’ problems
Bachelors Degree in Agriculture,
Minimum of 5 yrs experience in a senior position, Previous experience in a
microfinance industry will be an added advantage, Excellent IT skills (Word,
Excel and Powerpoint), Excellent oral and written English and Chichewa
