Michael Page Sales OEM Sales Manager Job Vacancy in UK and France

The OEM Sales Manager will manage the sales effort of Pressure Relief Devices in the original equipment manufacturer (OEM) and high volume application markets across the UK and France.


Responsibilities include:
• Identification and execution of business development opportunities across a vast range of industrial market segments inclusive of automotive, power generation, energy, aerospace, defence and industrial to name a few.
• Working in a technical consultative project sales role conducting detailed fact find with clients, understanding OEM requirements and offering custom engineered products to add value to projects.
• Supporting Representatives and colleagues with product, application and sales expertise.
• Liaising with Engineering and R&D departments to support customer orders and inquiries.
• Preparing and giving presentations to customer groups and internal personnel.
• Developing & implementing competitive strategies.
• Participating and assisting with various marketing initiatives including attending relevant trade shows, exhibitions and industry seminars to establish a solid business network.
Who we’re looking for
• A strong academic and work related background in Mechanical Engineering / Chemical Engineering, Physics or similar.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills with the ability to negotiate and close large scale contracts in competitive situations.
• Fluency in English and French would be a pre-requisite due to the hands on focus of developing the France & UK market.
• UK based with flexibility to travel extensively across territory.
• Problem solving and analytical skills.
• Ability to interpret engineering drawings.
• Creativity in providing competitive customer design solutions.
• Strong organisational ability and detail orientated.
• Autonomous sales approach.
