2013 Musicians Institute offers MI 35th Anniversary
Guitar Scholarship for International Students in USA. This scholarship is
available for pursuing AA degree level in the field of Guitar. The U.S. or
non-U.S citizens can apply for this scholarship. $3,000.00 tuition credit,
$1,500.00 per quarter for the first two consecutive quarters of the program.
Awardees must maintain enrollment at 12 units (fulltime status) during the full
length of award period. Application should be submitted till August 30, 2013.

Eligibility: -Student enrolling in the Associate of Arts in
Performance (Guitar) Program.
-US citizen and non-US citizen
-To be considered for an MI 35th Anniversary Guitar Scholarship, you must take
the following steps:
1.Complete an MI 35th Anniversary Guitar Scholarship application.
2.Submit a video recording (DVD format only) of  student performing three
(3) diverse songs (in any style on his/her instrument). It is recommended that
this include two (2) live ensemble (band or duo) performances, and one (1) solo
piece. Applicant may use electric and/or acoustic guitars.

Scholarship Open for International Students: The students of U.S. or non-U.S can apply for this scholarship.
Scholarship Description: The MI 35th Anniversary Guitar Scholarship will be awarded in Fall 2013
to students (US or non-US citizens) enrolling in the Associate of Arts in
Performance (Guitar) Program who demonstrate overall outstanding musicianship
and stylistic versatility. The scholarship is applicable for students enrolled
in the Guitar Performance Program only, and may not be transferred to
“non-performance program” emphases (Audio Engineering, Music Business,
Independent Artist, Guitar Craft, or Film) within an AA degree.
Duration of award(s): The total scholarship amount will be credited toward the first two
quarters tuition as long as the student maintains satisfactory academic
progress.
What does it cover? $3,000.00 tuition credit ($1,500.00 per quarter for the first two
consecutive quarters of the program. Awardee must maintain enrollment at 12
units (fulltime status) during the full length of award period. Failure to
maintain enrollment and satisfactory academic progress in the Guitar Program
for the full duration of the scholarship may result in withdrawal of the award.
