This part time
opportunity reports to the Branch Manager of Metcash’s Australian Liquor
Marketers division, you will drive sales growth for On Premise divisions within
your designated region. You will capitalise on opportunities to increase and
drive store numbers of Independent Brands Australia and increase brand presence
within the Far Northern landscape. Your ability to drive member and sales
growth will be integral to achieve sales budgets in the highly competitive
liquor retail market. The position is based in Cairns and covers the Far
Northern region and will require travel as required.
- Developing
and maintaining key accounts - Effectively
implementing sales initiatives and promotional strategies - Continuously
identifying opportunities to expand your customer base - Building
and maintaining strong working relationships with internal and external
stakeholders to showcase a strong benefit package for customers - Executing
initiatives to optimise basket size with each customer - Completing
reporting requirements and provide strategic input as required
About you:
- Proven
experience managing key accounts and achieving sales targets in a sales
based role - Sound
knowledge of the retail liquor industry - Strong
interpersonal skills with an ability to forge mutually beneficial working
relationships - A
strategic thinker who can focus on long-term goals and adapt your focus
accordingly - Ability
to multitask and seek new opportunities whilst ensuring existing customer
needs are met - Proven
business acumen
