The Client
Our client is a market leading New Media organisation with a number of successful e-commerce businesses. They operate in the fastest growing media sector of internet advertising. Continually at the forefront of technology and innovation in their field they are very much early adopters and technology leaders in their industry. This dynamic organisation have experienced continued expansion, new products, strong profits and funding. Their UK wide online advertising product enhances and increases their client’s sales, providing marketing and information through a powerful media based solution.
The Role
They currently require a Sales Executive to sell website advertising solutions and other added value services to new and some existing customers. This role will involve the management of a territory where you will be responsible for targeting an already identified potential client base. You will be responsible for warm and cold telemarketing calls to potential customers. You will be responsible for face to face meetings where you will review the account, increase the value of existing business where required, cross sell their increasing range of new products and present training and reporting presentations designed to increase membership brand loyalty. This is a structured sale where you will identify the business needs then create, design and present innovative new media solutions tailored to the client to ensure results. Once on board this involve managing and nurturing existing accounts, ensuring optimisation of revenue streams. You will have the support and back up of strong case studies, online presentation tools, metrics and marketing information to ensure sales success.
The Candidate
Ideally you will have experience of selling advertising / media space from any sector (i.e. newspaper; online, magazine; radio etc). Alternatively you will have strong experience and track record of selling any business to business product such as office furniture, office supplies, franking machines, IT equipment, IT products, training, telecoms, financial products, digital print services or a background in recruitment consultancy.
You will be comfortable dealing with new business and presenting new ideas and products both over the phone and face to face. You will be commercially aware, motivated and enthusiastic. You will have the tenacity to drive sales forward coupled with a real desire to work in an online media industry. You will be PC literate, creative, ambitious, articulate, proactive and quick thinking with the ability to develop long term relationships with a range of accounts.
