Team Leader Children’s Services
• Ongoing Full Time (19 day month)
• Salary Range: $82K – $92K (Band 7)
• 4 cylinder vehicle for full private use (reasonable contribution applies)
• Location: Croydon
An exciting opportunity exists for a dynamic early childhood professional to join the Maroondah City Council Community Services team. You will report to the Manager Community Services and have the task of creating the children’s services team of the future by critically and strategically responding to the needs of local children and families.
In this role you will:
• manage the Family Day Care, Vacation Care and Occasional Care programs
• plan and support the provision of kindergarten across the municipality
• build effective partnerships with local agencies to meet the needs of the community through collaboration
• strategically position Maroondah to deliver high quality services and be a model of best practice
• participate in capital works programs to maintain and develop early childhood infrastructure
In order to be successful in this position you will need to have excellent interpersonal and leadership skills, have a proven track record in leading high quality children’s services and be a competent verbal and written communicator. You will have a focus on customer service and a high level of accountability.
