Hours: Starting at one to three days per week
You: Are the best. We try hard to make each delivery perfect and as convenient as possible for our members. We’re looking for someone who is detail oriented and also able to work at a fast pace.
Our nice work environment is really important to us – so we’re also looking for someone who’s pretty normal, can fit in well and get along with everyone.
Skills/Knowledge that are an asset:
– Detail Oriented
– Interest/knowledge in organics/environment/local food is an asset!
– Positive, adaptable, reliable
– Ability to work with minimal supervision, within time limits.
– Ability to lift 20 — 40 lb bins (full of delicious organic produce)
– Valid driver’s licence (regular licence), Excellent driving record
Description:
Our drivers have their own routes which they deliver to each day (ie. each day has a specific area of Toronto associated with it).
Our drivers arrive at 1:00pm each day (the starting time changes slightly depending on the season). They review their route for the following day and fit any new customers into the appropriate place on their route. They then review their routes for the day and load their van.
We work with many small farms and suppliers in and around Toronto, so it’s quite possible that you’ll also be picking up from farms and small businesses before you start your route from time to time.juhy
Salary: Starting at $15.00 per hour (+ discount on organic produce)
There’s probation period of three months, after which time we’ll review your salary.
