Global Rail currently has a vacancy for an
experienced Civil/Construction Project Engineer based at our head office in
Melbourne to work on a range of projects in Victoria. The successful candidate
will require a minimum of 5 years’ civil engineering/construction experience.

Eligible candidates must have the following:
• Degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent
construction related field;

Roles & Responsibilities will include the

• Plan, manage and track construction activities
and processes

• Knowledge of commercial management of projects
• Ensuring company and client commitments and
expectations are managed within the given budget

• Assisting with project progress claims
• Sub-contractor/Supplier management
• Liaise with logistics department to ensure
cost effective and timely purchasing of materials and equipment

• Develop and foster effective and regular
communication with the Project Team including suppliers and clients

• Ensure activities are carried out in
accordance with the company’s’ Quality Assurance, Environmental Management and

• Prepare regular financial and progress reports
