Maastricht University is the second youngest public university of the Netherland. The university offers unique Europe-focused and internationally oriented academic programmes to bring best out of the students.
Maastricht University offers scholarships for Indian students to encourage them to pursue master’s courses at the University in academic year 2012 – 2013.
The Maastricht University Scholarship 2012 is a full-time residential doctoral programme that aims at training scholars to become highly skilled and innovative researchers and teachers in various domains. The scholarship is made from Maastricht University Scholarship Fund.
About 18 Indian students will be selected for Maastricht University Scholarship 2012. Around 12 large scholarships of worth €6,000 which covers 50% of tuition fee and about 6 medium scholarships of worth €4,000, covering 33% of tuition fee will be awarded to Indian students.
Maastricht University Scholarship 2012 will be awarded for the duration of master’s programme, with maximum of 12 months but if master’s programme is for 2 years, the scholarship committee will award Maastricht University Scholarship for 24 months.
Eligibility for Maastricht University Scholarship 2012
To get Maastricht University Scholarship 2012, you must
• Be admissible for a master’s programme or graduate programme for professionals at Maastricht University
• Not be older than 35 years at the start of the academic year (1 September 2012).
• Have excellent academic record.
• Be Indian residents.
• Meet requirements for obtaining an entry visa and residence permit for the Netherlands.
In case of equivalent qualification, preference will be given to applications, which show that the applicant is among the top 5%.
