MA Music Scholarships for International Students at City University London, UK

City University London, UK offers two full
fee-waiver scholarships for international students. The scholarship is awarded
to pursue any MA in Music, Ethnomusicology, Composing for Moving
Images or Performance for September 2013 entry. These are known as
MA Music Pathways. Applicants should apply till 18th April 2013.
Study Subject(s): The
scholarship is offered for entry to any of the following MA Music pathways: MA
Music, MA Music (Ethnomusicology), MA Music (Performance) and MA Music
(Composing for Moving Images).
Course Level: This scholarship is available for pursuing master’s
degree.

Eligibility:
-you to have an undergraduate degree in music. However, if you have an advanced
level in performance or composition you may also be considered for those
pathways. They accept qualifications other than music degrees for entry onto
the Ethnomusicology MA pathway.
– If English is not your first language, please provide evidence of a score of
at least 6.5 in the IELTS English language test.

Scholarship Description: City University London is happy to announce two full fee-waiver
scholarships for entry to any of its MA Music pathways in September 2013. The
Robert Anderson Scholarship provides a full-fee waiver at UK/EU rates and a
further scholarship is offered as a result of generous funding from the Newby
Trust. International students are eligible to apply for both awards and if
successful will have the equivalent UK/EU fee amount deducted from the
international fee.
Number of awards offered: Two full fee-waiver scholarships are available.

How to Apply: In order
to be considered for scholarships the application must include:
-a CV indicating your studies and achievements to date
-a statement indicating why you feel you are particularly deserving of such an
award and outlining the contribution you will make to the Centre for Music
Studies.
Scholarship Application Deadline: The deadline for applications is 18th April 2013.
