An exciting job opportunity exists with one of Queensland’s Major Coal Mines in the Bowen Basin Region for a Long Term Maintenance Planner. A dynamic career opportunity, attractive salary and subsidised accommodation are on offer with this role.
With relevant experience in maintenance planning on heavy mobile equipment in an industrial or mining environment you will assist in the coordination of annual budgets including monthly forecasts, identifying critical spares and preparing critical risk analysis reports for the maintenance department. As a successful candidate you will liaise with engineers to review and develop current maintenance strategies pertaining to asset life cycles, continuous improvement initiatives and defect elimination processes.
With relevant Trade Qualifications in a mechanical trade and hands-on maintenance experience you will develop and update maintenance documents and ensure all plans are accurately in place for all maintenance activities. As a successful applicant you will have previous experience with CMMS systems, preferably Ellipse and exposure to Asset Management training. Your effective communication and organisation skills will assist you with managing multiple tasks simultaneously.
