Our vision for the future of local government in Hounslow is as a community leader, not simply a provider of services. We are committed to modernisation and have embarked on a significant transformation programme, developing new structures and efficient ways of working to meet our ambitious agenda.
As Assistant Director Transformation and Human Resources you will work alongside Members and the Council’s leadership team to help shape our vision for the future. You will take leadership responsibility in designing and running the programme of work that delivers this vision. People are at the heart of our transformation programme; your human resources background will enable you to develop workforce strategies that enable our transformation, while ensuring that everything we do as a Council is underpinned by outstanding HR practice.

The significant profile of this post, reporting to the Chief Executive, will ensure that you will have every opportunity to contribute to the corporate leadership of the Council, contributing fully to our community role and maximising the positive impact we strive to achieve for all residents of the Borough.

To succeed in this role you will be able to demonstrate experience and consistent achievement in a leadership role in a comparably complex organisation pursuing a transformational agenda.
