As a key member of the People and Organisational
Development team, you will be committed to delivering professional people and
organisational development services that support Liverpool City Council’s
strategic directions and values.

Reporting to the Coordinator Organisational
Development, this role provides a mix of strategic people and operational
activities (focussing on organisation structure and establishment, position
management and job evaluation), working in partnership with Council’s business
units in developing a healthy and positive organisational culture to achieve
business objectives through people. You will also be playing a leading role in
implementing councils newly developed workforce management plan.

The successful applicant will have:
- Tertiary
qualifications in a human resources related discipline or equivalent
knowledge and experience; - Strong stakeholder
engagement skills, across divisional; - Proven
experience with organisation structure, job design, job analysis and job
evaluation; - Experience
in human resource policy development; - Demonstrated
experience in initiating, developing and implementing people and
organisational development initiatives.
Salary will be dependent upon the relevant
skills, experience and competencies of the successful applicant.
