Analysis – Department of Food Science and Technology
The prospective
candidates should have MSc in Food Science related areas with at least a credit
including those majoring in Analytical and Organic Chemistry, The candidate
should demonstrate teaching ability and should have a developing record of
scholarly publications or dissemination of scholarly work in peer-reviewed
forums as well as professional achievement in an area of expertise related to
the subject area
Teaching
undergraduate and postgraduate courses in the discipline of expertise, Advising
undergraduate students and supervising graduate students in thesis research
projects, Mobilising resources to develop research and outreach program in the
area of expertise, Participating in university activities as required by the
institution
Teach and assess
undergraduate and postgraduate students in allocated courses, Develop and
conduct independent research and outreach programmes in their area of
specialisation, Supervise undergraduate and postgraduate students research,
Identify suitable teaching and learning materials for allocated courses,
Participate in academic, professional and administrative activities of the
Department, Faculty and the University
A letter of
application, CV, Undergraduate and Graduate academic transcripts, Names,

refs whom the University may contact, Copies of certificates and a one page
summary outlining research and extension/outreach visions
