Purpose
of role

Overall responsibility for the safe, reliable and efficient operation of the
plant assets including all aspects of operations, routine maintenance,
technical support necessary for day-to-day operation and HSE/SCD/Security
Responsibilities
  • Provides
    expert advice and act as training resource on all HSE related matters
  • Ensures
    the integrity of the Operations and Management System
  • Oversees
    the execution of the contract with the O&M contractor and LTSA (Long
    term service agreements) with the OEMs
  • Provides
    best industry practice to continually develop opportunities for
    improvement
  • Provides
    engineering, reliability and integrity, projects, shutdown, contracts and
    procurement, and maintenance management support to the O&M contractor
  • Responsible
    for asset integrity of the facilities and the protection of assets
    thereof.
  • Ensures
    the integrity of the Asset Reliability and Asset Integrity Management
    System and proper management of Field Logistics Base (FLB), if required.
Qualifications
& Skills
  • Technical
    Graduate with 15 – 20 years’ experience in integrated Gas & Power
    operations at senior supervisory level with a degree in engineering and/or
    technical discipline
  • 15
    years’ experience in power industry & currently at senior leadership
    position in a power/process industry.
  • Experience
    in commercial power plant Asset management with broad understanding of
    production systems and power purchase agreements as well as
    engineering/projects and operations readiness/assurance.
  • Experience
    with Alstom Gas and Steam Turbine-Generators.
  • Strong
    interpersonal skills and a willing team player; capable of communicating
    well at all levels, both within and outside the organization and
    especially with government and industry representatives.

    the QA/QC Engineer, you would be in charge of general quality assurance
    and controls in the field material consumption. You would provide
    technical support whenever necessary and would be in charge of material
    classification, selection and uses. You must be conversant with equipment
    reliability processes for field equipment. You would be involved quality
    checks on all field activities, bench mark project designs/demands with
    deliverables, pump installations & commissioning knowledge, compressor
    Installation & commissioning knowledge. You would have direct
    oversight on equipment overhaul supervision, turbine Installation &
    commissioning, produced water construction and commissioning, you would
    actively participate in all plant operation activities

If you would be interested in a highly engaging and rewarding opportunity as
the Marine & Offshore Manager for a leading oilfield servicing company then
this is right for you:
As
the Marine & Offshore Manager, you would directly manage marine vessel,
manpower, logistics, security, HSE, maintenance, material (including
warehousing), and external relations. It is expected you have vast exposure
& experience in marine, offshore, oil and gas industry. You would
effectively participate in all Pre-mobilization, Mobilization and
Demobilization activities for Offshore Construction Projects. You would work
closely with the CEO but would have autonomy and direct oversights of managing
the company’s bases, assets and monitor all vessel movements.
It
gets more interesting as you would lead a team of highly competent personnel in
the Marine and Offshore Department, and in the case more manpower is needed to
maintain the fleet, you would ensure availability of such resource. You would
plan and ensure preventive and periodic maintenance is carried out on all
vessels and related equipment. Track and ensure all vessels comply with
relevant Nigerian Ports Authority, Nigerian Maritime Administration and Safety
Agency (NIMASA), Local Government, and Host Communities requirements, including
but not limited to permits, fees, etc. Track, Monitor Class and Flag
documentation updates, ensure safe and proper records are kept on board the
vessels and also with the Document Control Department of the company and liaise
with other departments as needed and ensure proper and unhindered running of
the Marine fleet and assets.

Successful Applicant
  • For
    the successful Marine & Offshore Engineer, you will have a Bachelor of
    Science or its equivalent qualifications in Marine Engineering,
    Transportation Studies, or any related science disciplines. Strong
    technical background and skills for details. Have at least 20years
    experience working in the Marine, Offshore / Oil field Industry.
